Americas Area Partner Vice President

The position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Partner & Commercial Sales. This position will be responsible for leading strategic growth and market expansion in the Americas, focusing on Juniper Networks' partner ecosystem. This candidate will drive a high-performance culture, set ambitious goals, and achieve results in alignment with the Juniper Way. This person will be the key leader responsible for creating and delivering a strategy plan to drive sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities



  • Strategy Development: Craft and execute innovative strategies to drive sales and revenue growth through Juniper's Partners in the Americas.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of high-performing sales professionals, promoting individual and team success.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and ecosystem partners to develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market plans, ensuring bookings and pipeline goals are achieved.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales metrics and forecasts, using insights to enhance execution and sales strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in various sectors, translating technical benefits into valuable solutions.
  • Industry Awareness: Keep abreast of industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscapes, adapting sales strategies for sustained growth.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a thought leader at events and forums, enhancing Juniper Networks' presence and building strategic relationships.
  • Sales Achievement: Consistently meet sales targets, ensure accurate forecasting, and optimize resource use.


Key Organizational Relationships



  • Sales Leadership: Develop strong relationships with senior sales leadership for cross-functional strategic execution.
  • Area Partner Sales: Indirect leadership by guiding strategy, support, and sharing best practices.
  • Support Functions: Collaborate with Partner Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, Business Development, and Legal teams.


Candidate Profile



  • Experience: 10+ years in leadership and sales management, with significant experience in partner ecosystems.
  • Track Record: History of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth in technology sales.
  • Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the diverse needs of the Americas market and the ability to tailor strategies accordingly.
  • Partner Ecosystem Understanding: Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, including channel partners and service providers.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performance teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging executive-level stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Adaptability: Passion for driving innovation and adapting to fast-paced environments.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required.


Minimum Salary: $424,000.00

Maximum Salary:$609,500.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $424,000.00 and $609,500.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
