Yard Superintendent

Title: Yard Superintendent (Nights)

Location: Pascagoula, MS

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Yard Superintendent to direct multiple production phases within a manufacturing plant and ensures production schedules are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises craft-man and foreman.
• Advises foreman regarding supervision of employees.
• Ensures safe working conditions in production area.
• Assists leads in conducting safety meetings.
• Reviews production drawings and determines production requirements, equipment, and procedures.
• Coordinates work assignments and instruction of employees with Lead workers to ensure proper, efficient work procedures.
• Monitors production daily and requisitions additional equipment and manpower as required.
• Coordinates with quality control managers to ensure product compliance with Company standards and specifications.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) + years of Production Management.

Skills and Abilities:

• Considerable knowledge of shipyard operations as related to products and components and applicable regulatory requirements and practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
• Ability to plan cost effective work procedures compatible with quality requirements.
• Ability to effectively communicate, instruct, build and direct a productive team.
