Description

We are hiring an Associate Technical Engineer to assist in applying quality and manufacturing principles, implementing changes for productivity, serving as a technical resource, ensuring robust quality design, and manufacturing in our production processes!

Who You Are:

The Associate Technical Engineer is essential for driving actionable SQDC improvements by tracking and implementing metrics. With expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Mural, Windchill, and SAP, they analyze data effectively. Collaborating within teams, they offer technical support in designated projects. Their skills in work measurement/time studies help identify process enhancements, while their understanding of lean manufacturing includes flow, PQ, equipment reliability, and set-up reduction. Moreover, the engineer applies quality engineering principles, aiming for ASQ certification support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field or military equivalent experience"

What You Will Be Doing:

Quality Assurance Systems: Design, install, and evaluate quality assurance systems and statistical techniques.
Equipment and Process Validation: Design or specify inspection and testing equipment for analyzing production and service processes.
Improvements: Lead tactical support tasks to improve manufacturing processes, reduce ergonomic stress, and identify product quality risks.
Floor Support: Provide timely product and process support, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to minimize production interruptions.
Special Projects: Engage in cross-functional projects to address product, process, customer, supplier, and quality-related issues.
Customer Service Response: Identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and suggest process or quality assurance changes to address customer service or supplier quality issues.
Strategic/Manufacturing Planning: Research new processes, equipment, and technologies to integrate into the company
