Job Summary To safely operate the bag line, robot and wrapper to bag product. Duties and Responsibilities Operator safely sets up the bag line, robot and wrapper to bag, stack and wrap finished products. The operator is responsible for properly setting up the machine to ensure quality bags are filled, inspected, wrapped and ready for final shipment to customers. The operator is also responsible to fill out a quality inspection sheet, identify and correct any quality issues as they arise. Operator will tally and record final pallet and bag count numbers and turn this data sheet in to the Production Managers inbox. Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards. Maintains a safe, neat, orderly accident free work environment. Maintaining clean working areas. Report any issues and help to resolve / understand root cause. Ensures all bags are filled, stacked and wrapped to the highest quality standards. Records and submits a daily quality checksheet. Reports all maintenance issues immediately to the Shift Supervisor and safely helps with minor repairs to the bag line, robot and wrapper. Qualification Requirements Minimum Education:Requires a level of knowledge normally gained with a high school diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience:1 year experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to work for long periods under a wide range of ambient conditions. Must be able to work flexible hours. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Show a commitment to teamwork, being results oriented. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and effective organizational skills. Ability to interact with co-workers, contractors and suppliers on a professional level. Mechanical adaptability.
