This position will support numerous research initiatives at the Thurston Arthritis Research Center, with a focus on creative projects and visual communication. Key aspects of the position will include presentation design & support, website design & maintenance, grant writing & editing, and general content creation support. The position will be responsible for creating and updating PowerPoint presentations to communicate research findings, proposals, and other relevant content. The position will also assist the research team in writing and editing grant proposals, including proofreading, drafting sections, and ensuring adherence to submission requirements. The applicant should have a creative skillset and be willing to take on various design projects and initiatives at the Thurston Arthritis Research Center.

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Experience in clinical environment, managing health information, and/or clinical trials.

Strong proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, or other graphic design software. Experience with website design and content management systems (WordPress). Experience with writing and editing grant proposals. Certified Registered Health Information Administrator or equivalent.
