Are you a creative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated chemist with a passion for innovation? We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Reagent Development Group, where you'll play a key role in advancing the future of multicolor flow cytometry assays.

If you have a strong background in fluorescent dye synthesis and a drive to develop cutting-edge reagents, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
  • Design & develop novel fluorescent dyes.
  • Identify & evaluate new dyes on the market to expand the cFluor fluorophore portfolio.
  • Create new reagent products by conjugating antibodies to fluorescent dyes, including small molecule dyes, protein tandem dyes, and StarBright dyes.
  • Analyze, purify, and characterize dyes and reagents using HPLC, FPLC, LC/MS, NMR, fluorometry, and other analytical techniques.
  • Document experiments in a timely and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of scientists to drive innovation.
What You Bring:
  • PhD in Organic Chemistry (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience synthesizing organic fluorescent dyes (preferred).
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a passion for discovery.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
  • Comfortable working standing for up to an hour at a time.
  • Must be able to maneuver within a laboratory setting to access materials.
