Are you passionate about Human Resources and eager to dive into a dynamic and supportive environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our Human Resources team. This 9-week internship offers a unique opportunity to work on fun and engaging projects that support our culture and core values.

The role is based in Itasca, IL, requiring onsite presence for nine weeks, 30 hours per week (Monday to Thursday). The schedule runs from June 16 to August 14.

Culture Programs: Dive into projects that support our company's vibrant culture. Gain hands-on experience in initiatives that foster an inclusive and positive work environment.
• Talent Acquisition: Get exposure to the full HR lifecycle starting with recruiting. Work closely with the Manager and Director on brand strategy, recruiting strategies, resume review, and proactive talent acquisition (TA) sourcing.
• Community Engagement: Rotate your time supporting our Community Engagement Manager. Contribute to our AIT Cares Program, a volunteering initiative dedicated to our core value of engaging in our communities.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• The wage range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Education

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and Canva (High)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. (High)
• Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. (High)
• Enthusiasm for community engagement and volunteering. (Medium)
• Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative on projects. (High)

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
