OPERATIONS ANALYST

Operates, monitors, maintains, and supports computer systems in the hospital; completes all tape backups and contributes to maintenance of an accurate tape library; answers Help Desk telephone, logs issues, and provides outstanding customer service to end-users. Performs data entry functions.

REQUIRED:
1. One (1) year professional work experience in an Information Systems environment

2. Must possess strong mathematical and analytical skills

3. Must demonstrate knowledge of data processing procedures and applications

4. Ability to read, write, and follow detailed written and oral instructions; ability to communicate effectively

5. Must possess strong 10-key / data entry skills

6. Working knowledge of PC and printer hardware, PC operating systems, and application software

PREFERRED:
1. Associates Degree or other diploma in Data Processing or other Information Technology related area

2. One (1) year hospital-based experience as a Computer Operator, Operations Analyst, or Help Desk Analyst

3. Experience answering a Help Desk phone and logging support calls

4. Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Professional; experience troubleshooting or repairing PC and printer hardware
