Manufacturing Electrical Engineer - General Assembly Process Engineering

  • Developing manufacturing processes by designing electrical test equipment, modifying equipment or test software for Stellantis assembly plants.
  • Designing electrical testing methods for testing finished products and system capabilities. Install and verify Industrial tooling from various tooling suppliers.
  • Diagnosing vehicle assembly, vehicle module software and tooling to root cause issues.
  • Work with vendors to define electrical systems and write specifications to suppliers to procure equipment and tooling for implement during new vehicle launches.
  • Conduct in-vehicle assembly including timelines, procurement, design and specification, and implementation.
  • Schedule, plan, monitor, report key performance indicators and activities.
  • Work with multiple departments to complete projects and/or tasks.
  • Manage multiple tasks and stay on track.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent OR 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing or related field
  • Experience developing and implementing/diagnosing electrical systems
  • Ability to work overtime and travel 20 % within the United States
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills - both orally and in writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent to advanced level in EXCEL
  • Must possess the ability to be flexible in work assignments


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in electrical systems (Rolls, ADAS, Electrical Testing Equipment)
  • New model vehicle launch experience
