In this role, the FINISHER/DEBURRING TECHNICIAN will perform various functions such as deburring, polishing, washing, assembling, bead blasting, and visualizing to ensure customer required finishes. This role will pull set up sheets, run vibratory tumblers, bead blast, hand finish, and straighten parts. FINISHER/DEBURRING TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: Examine cleaned objects to ensure conformance to standards. Use hand tools such as deburring knives, chamfer tools, sheet sandpaper, and files to finish parts. Operate and use vibratory finishing machines to tumble parts. Operate and use bead blast blasting systems. Able to pull set up sheets to complete parts. Obtain first piece and move forward on completing a job. Develop knowledge to be able to make edits to the set-up sheets to improve efficiencies. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to think independently. Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools is a plus. Show initiative in work by being a self-starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely matter.
