A Product Manager (PM) within the Sonepar Digital factory owns the product on behalf of Sonepar. They are a key partner of the business owner, together responsible for ensuring that the product creates value for customers and users. Product managers are the link between key stakeholders and the PO (product owners) and aligns all stakeholders on the value to be created and a common roadmap. The E-procurement Product Manager identifies system to system (S2S) business requirements for SPARK global platform. System to system scope to include punchout (Transactional integration between customer ERP and SPARK), EDI, integrations between customer ERP and Sonepar ERP, and other future integrations.
This position is based in our Denver, CO or Irving, TX offices, hybrid schedule
In this role you will:
- PM collaborates with Lead Product Manager - Large Installer, BOs, and POs to identify S2S north star and roadmap
- PM communicates with stakeholders on S2S priorities and vision
- PM identifies with BO's (business owners) and users' support at demand) the features needed to meet Business Goals and Epics
- PM complete the business case for the new features required by the BOs in link with the Epics Lean Business Cases
- PM prioritizes features based on Business value and defines Product increments for each PI (Program Increment) and Releases Milestones in accordance with market events and rhythms
- PM conducts user acceptance tests with users once the features are developed and feeds back to the teams and especially POs
- PM collaborates with BOs, GPO (global product owners) and business stakeholders to increase Product adoption for the long run
- Strong commitment on PI (Program Increment) Planning and PI execution
What you bring:
- Digital experience: 3+Years
- Product management experience: 2+ Years
- Deep distribution industry experience: 3+ Years
- Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent work experience acceptable
- Must be authorized to work for Sonepar USA in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational and time management skills including attention to details
- Experience and familiarity operating with Agile Scrum Development teams
- Strong background in owning a portfolio of solutions and driving adoption with the business
- Understanding of business and project context
- Position is based in our Denver, CO or Irving, TX offices, hybrid schedule
- This position has an annual travel percentage of 20%
- As this role will be heavily engaged with colleagues across Europe via Teams meetings, the requested start time is 0700AM Central time zone, Monday through Friday.
