Shipping Line Clerk

We are seeking a Shipping Line Clerk to join our Danco Distribution center, located in Dallas, Texas.

Key Duties for the role:

• Ensures that all shippingdocuments and functions are completed accurately and on time.
• Follows customers routing guides to prepare shipments inlcuding Bill of Ladings
• Able to ship prepaid or collect shipments thru UPS and Fedex systems.
• Ensures proper loading of carriers using a dock stocker fork lift
• Log shipments, completes and forwards paperwork in a timely manner. Files paperwork as needed.
• Removes totes/cases from line, organizes by location and moves to staging area for loading on trucks.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and within time constraints, as prescribed by shipping schedule.
• Effective communication skills: verbal and written communication skills including good telephone skills.
• High School Diploma; or equivalent.
• Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
• Outgoing, team player, and a willingness to learn.
• Solid attendance track record.

1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Overtime is dictated based on business need
