Houseman/Housekeeper

The Houseman supports the housekeeping team by ensuring all areas of the hotel are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming to guests. This role involves assisting housekeepers, handling linen, and performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning:
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairways, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and elevators.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and remove trash.

Support Housekeeping Staff:

• Assist housekeepers with moving furniture, replenishing supplies, and delivering clean linen and towels to guest rooms.
• Help with heavy lifting and any additional tasks as needed.
• Collect dirty linen from housekeeping carts and transport it to the laundry area.
• Distribute clean linen to storage areas and housekeeping carts.

• Safety and Security:
• Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Other Duties:

• Assist with special projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Participate in training programs and staff meetings.
