Summary:

The People Advisor supports company's People Strategy by providing superior administrative support for the Employee Experience Organization (EEO). This role is responsible for executing related activity within core HR Processes within their given functional scope. Executes core processes in operations, ensures employee records are updated and necessary tasks performed to meet regulatory requirements. The HR Coordinator also serves as a champion of the culture and promotes a positive experience for employees.

Essential Functions

  • Support People Partners in managing HR processes including any new colleague on-boarding and paperwork, promotions/transfers/terminations, compliance, reporting, performance appraisals, compensation reviews and employee relations as needed.
  • Assist with submission of necessary forms for updating payroll system (ADP) and HRIS system (Workday) for Hybrid teams and/or teams not in HRIS system (new hires/promotions/transfers/terminations etc.)
  • Own maintenance of I-9 files; Audit and guide how to complete and verify I-9 documentation. Manage E-Verify access.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Oversees conversion process for temp to hire associates, works closely with agency partners, monitors performance and coordinates with leaders.
  • Initiate new and renewal immigration and/or relocation tasks into the APRO system.
  • Guide employees to find answers to questions about HR policies, procedures, etc.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Perform special projects and run ad hoc reports as assigned.
  • Research various HR topics through professional resources such as the Conference Board, the Employers Association, SHRM, etc.
  • Cascade key announcements and general HR communications for teams and/or offices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Performs job related duties as specified by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience highly preferred.
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, advanced features of Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Must ensure confidentiality of HR department information.

Pay Range:

  • $23.00 - $25.00*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
