POSITION SUMMARY:
Valley Health Medical Group is looking for a Primary Care Physician to join the team The Valley Health System is one of the largest and most honored healthcare providers in New Jersey. The Valley Hospital is one of the busiest hospitals with 431 beds, approximately 46,000 admissions annually, over 70,000 patients treated in the Emergency Department, and over 3,500 babies born. The Hospital's primary service area includes 32 towns in northwestern Bergen County, home to over 460,000 people, and it has expanded its footprint well beyond that area. The construction of The New Valley Hospital, due to open early April 2024 will be a 900,000 square foot state-of-the-art healthcare destination site on a 40-acre campus in Paramus. Position Summary: Provides Geriatric and Primary Care services to residents at home and in facilities for Valley's Senior Health Partners. The position is responsible for the clinical excellence of the primary care services and for developing programs aimed at population health management. EDUCATION: M.D or D.O from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy from a recognized institution Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine, A valid New Jersey State Medical license, DEA, and CDS is required.
