As an intern at Aspire Bakeries, you won't just be an observer-you'll be a valued part of our team, contributing to the creation of our beloved La Brea Bakery breads and Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, muffins, and cakes that bring joy to millions every day. This summer our La Brea Bakery Brand team is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Creative Intern to help develop engaging social and digital content that brings our artisan bread brand to life. This is an exciting opportunity for a design-savvy, content-driven intern who is passionate about social media, video editing, and digital storytelling.As part of our marketing team, you'll create dynamic visuals, short-form videos, and digital assets using Adobe After Effects, Canva, AI tools, and video editing software. You'll gain hands-on experience in digital content creation while contributing to exciting brand initiatives and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Design eye-catching visuals for La Brea Bakery's Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube accounts
• Edit short-form videos and animations using Adobe After Effects, Canva, and AI-powered tools
• Optimize video formats for engagement and performance across platforms
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas for upcoming campaigns
• Design email graphics, website visuals, and paid digital ads
• Experiment with AI-powered design & video tools to improve efficiency and content quality
• Provide insights on emerging design techniques that can enhance our brand's digital presence

Potential Projects:

• Project will be develop social and digital assets that we will execute through FY26
• Work with our social team to develop roadmap and develop assets

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field; preference for intern in Junior year
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Canva, and video editing software
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation (e.g., Canva AI, CapCut, ChatGPT for captions)
• Ability to edit short-form videos and create visually compelling assets
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Passion for food, branding, and storytelling is a plus!

Program Eligibility:

• Must be able to work full-time for a minimum of 9 consecutive weeks
• Must be able to work from the assigned location, Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work remotely each Friday
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening with satisfactory results

Hourly Rate:$20.00

The final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed In this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs.
