Description & Requirements
The Regional Industry Marketing Leader (RIML) guides their region's assigned industry group in many aspects of marketing & business development, including leverage of industry strategic plans (ISPs), consulting marketing strategic plans (CMSPs), regional strategic plans, action item development and accountability, organizing regional marketing expenses, conference and trade show planning and participation, strategic regional client and prospect pursuits, developing strategies for Forvis Mazars-hosted events and execution, advertising plans, and driving thought leadership.
Under the guidance of the Regional Industry Leader (RIL), these individuals will collaborate with the National Industry Marketing Leader (NIML), relevant Consulting Marketing Leaders (CMLs), and work directly with the Regional Marketing Director, Market Industry Leaders (MILs), and office resources to leverage strategy and resources. This individual will implement integrated strategic marketing plans in alignment with the ISP and CMSPs, helping to expand awareness of key services and growth initiatives, implement campaigns and strategies to drive revenue growth, and manage the regional marketing approach for their assigned industry group.
This individual will also work closely with the national industry and consulting marketing teams communicating frequently to ensure regional activities are aligned with and directly supporting the key strategic objectives of the National Industry Group.
How you will contribute:
  • Diligent brand champions in all markets within region.
  • Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant inter-departmental and inter-firm matters often requiring coordination between departments and vendors
    • Committed to consistency & collaboration with national industry and consulting marketers (who deliver firmwide strategies & initiatives) & stakeholders
    • Actively participate in meetings & communication opportunities
    • May serve on committees to discuss new ideas
  • Work with the office Managing Partners and the other industry and consulting marketing leaders to support the strategic industry marketing needs of the local market (25% local office higher-level needs/75% regional industry)
  • Work with the RILs & MILs to outline strategic action items in support of ISP goals, then tracks progress to ensure accountability & reporting to Regional Managing Partner (RMP)
  • Responsible for regional campaign lists & results
  • Consistently update regional proposal results, proposal statistics, etc. in appropriate location
  • Nurture regional association relationships to help generate more exposure & thought leadership opportunities
  • Leverage national thought leadership activities through various outlets to expand the reach of FORsights within the region
  • Monitor marketing expenses
  • Support development & implementation of regional growth initiatives
  • Leverage or deploy existing (if financial / revenue / growth - provided by Internal Accounting) monthly reports providing data-driven insights to RIL and MILs
  • Leverage quarterly reports providing data-driven insights to RMP & NIL, including RML & NIML, via meetings or communications as needed.
  • Work with RIL & MILs to develop strategic target lists, then implement strategies for acquiring new clients
  • Lead strategy sessions for key regional client & prospect pursuits
  • Actively communicate with National Industry Marketing Leader to enhance collaboration & best practice sharing & ensure alignment with national priorities
  • Guide the strategy for various internal & external conferences & events at the regional level
  • Monitor & post on Forvis Mazars social media platforms
  • Push easy button social media posts/email templates to region for leverage
  • Collaborate with other RIMLs, NIMLs, CMLs, & RMLs to enrich in-person & virtual lists for current relationships to help facilitate follow up activity & meetings
  • Understand, expand, & leverage Forvis Mazars MBD Resources
  • Teach, educate, & hold team accountable to drive sustainable growth
  • Travel to office locations to build strong relationships

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years or more of previous relevant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of modern marketing practices
  • Excellent computer & software skills, including proficiency with Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 - 9 years of previous relevant experience
