Opportunity at a Glance
The Recruiting Specialist supports the business by managing key aspects of the recruiting process to attract and hire top talent. This role operates under close guidance and collaboration with senior team members and hiring managers to deliver a seamless candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Works with hiring managers to develop hiring objectives to meet business needs.
- Prepares requisitions and obtains the necessary approvals to begin recruiting for various positions.
- Supports the recruitment process for various positions by identifying candidates who align with role requirements and organizational culture, contributing to their long-term success and retention at Adtalem Global Education and our segments.
- Participates in recruitment projects and recommends changes to the process to increase attraction and attention of applicants.
- Posts positions to job boards and the internal career site, ensuring all job postings are accurate, free of errors, and written in an inclusive, bias-free manner to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Follows through on all resumes received to ensure that proper correspondence is sent to applicants.
- Maintains accurate and update to date notes in the ATS system.
- Conducts interviews to screen and qualify candidates identifying strong matches while fostering interest in Adtalem Global Education as an employer of choice.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or other related discipline. Required
- 3+ years of related business experience in a fast-paced environment with heavy customer interaction. Required
- Experience in administrative roles or internships, particularly in HR or recruiting, is a plus. Preferred
- Communication Skills: Ability to articulate job opportunities effectively, listen actively, and convey information clearly to both candidates and hiring managers.
- Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize recruitment activities, and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and team members to foster trust and collaboration
- Technology Proficiency: Competence in using job boards, social media, and recruitment tools for sourcing and engaging candidates
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address recruitment challenges, such as sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Quickly adjust to changing priorities, job requirements, and recruitment strategies.
- Decision-Making: Make sound, timely decisions regarding candidate selection based on established criteria
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199.33 and $88,841.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
