Overview

Perform assembly and packaging of immunoaffinity column for the rapid detection of aflatoxin, contributing to daily production requirements in both an individual and team environment. Assist the department team to analyze and determine corrective actions for problems associated with HPLC instruments, systems or manufacturing processes. Support department quality objectives and quality systems adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform assembly of high-volume column products using appropriate tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documentation (procedures, process sheets, drawings, quality documents etc).
  • Ability to perform basic inspection of columns in preparation for final test and evaluation.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in both an individual and team environment.
  • Ability to work non-standard/additional hours when necessary based on production demands
  • Primary duties include building of columns to assist the department in meeting production schedules and quality goals, while assisting in other duties as directed by department manager.
  • Ability to perform all aspects of the Assembly building process, including documentation requirements.
  • Participate with department support functions in the following areas:
    • Day-By-Hour Data
    • Daily Management Board
    • Continuous Improvement Opportunities (Safety, Quality, Efficiency)
  • Assist in reviewing and/or updating documentation for processes and assembly equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required


Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years minimum experience in a Manufacturing / Assembly work environment.
