Sr. Systems Administrator - Bank Operations

Description

This position is responsible for executing the critical technical tasks that are integral in the overall Bank Operations workflow, supporting in the creation and automation of ad-hoc reporting needs, analyzing process workflows, identifying solutions to streamline or automate data transmission and daily tasks, and providing technical assistance with regard to internal and external applications for Bank Operations.

System Administration



  • Coordinate the consultation with software users for ideas related to features that would further enhance the software.
  • Designs changes for and customize software to meet the needs of MidFirst Bank. This includes system maintenance and adding new products, services, documents, workflows and retail office locations to the software as needed.
  • Support working with third party vendors for new software implementation and upgrades
  • Document vendor released enhancements and coordinate user meeting to determine desires for implementation.
  • Maintain software manuals as well as developing additional documentation that may be needed due to internal procedures.
  • Monitor, analyze and resolve incidents for internal users.
  • Escalate incidents to appropriate staff as necessary to ensure closure is completed in a timely fashion.
  • Administrative and internal user support of 3rd party applications and respective hardware on a daily basis, including serving an on-call rotation for afterhours support.
  • Administration of internal user access to 3rd party applications.
  • Administration of internally developed processes.



Reporting



  • Understand reporting needs and develop the tools to provide improved efficiency
  • Control reporting volume to reduce duplication.
  • Create advanced management reporting to be viewed by senior and executive levels of management
  • Ad-hoc reporting and data mining Workflow Development



Data Management



  • Data transfers between differing systems.
  • Data updates in various systems.
  • Data manipulation
  • Identify data workflow inefficiencies and data management solutions



Position Requirements



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 years of experience in system administration and reporting
  • Understanding of Bank Operations business processes and/or deposit accounts preferred
  • Experience with enterprise software systems and IT or process automation preferred
  • Strong PC Skills including Microsoft products
  • Strong analytical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • Strong understanding of software and system design
  • Intermediate scripting skills in Powershell, VBA, or Python
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibits strong teaching and training skills
