Description
The Flight Instructor Pilot is responsible to the Flight Program Lead Pilot for performing the duties assigned. As a certified pilot, the Flight Instructor Pilot is required to pilot the aircraft by all applicable FAA regulations. This position will provide primary and advanced flight instruction delivering private/instrument/commercial training for airplane and helicopter training syllabi. The position will also serve as an Instructor Pilot and Pilot in Command of multiple aircraft types operating in Foreign and Domestic locations as the mission requires to train and mentor DEA helicopter pilots. Full-time responsibility is located at KCXO Conroe North Houston Airport, TX. Extensive travel is not normally required but may be required to support operational missions worldwide, including active combat zones. Potential deployment times of 30 days or more could involve as much as 50%-travel annually. Performs other duties as required to include, but not limited to the following:
