??The Sr. Construction Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for a variety of capital construction and facility renovation projects to achieve organizational goals. Supports meeting departmental goals while assisting in addressing day to day operational issues that arise due to major and minor construction and renovation projects for the health system.? |

??Performs roles and responsibilities in full accordance with the approved Construction Management Guidelines while keeping projects on schedule, within budget and in accordance with the approved scope . Co-leads project teams during development to formulate Project Scope, Budget, and schedule. Conducts Preconstruction Risk Assessments (PCRA) prior to construction start. Ensures appropriate and complete implementation of appropriate infection control risk assessment (ICRA) measures and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM). Coordinates with Infection Control, Facilities Management and Safety Management Departments. Documents compliance with Field Observation Reports. Processes and maintains project documentation to include, but not limited to Approval Letters, Meeting Minutes, Project Scope Manual, Contract Documents and Specifications, Addenda, Change Orders, RFI?s, Shop Drawing Submittals, Bulletin Drawings, Applications for Payments, Closeout Documents, As-Built Drawings and routine correspondence. Conducts regular site visits to inspect for compliance with the contract documents and quality. Maintains documentation and corrective action using Field Observation Reports. Plans and coordinates project related disruptive activities that impact operations. This includes, but are not limited to utility outages, noise, vibration, dust, etc. Disruptions are to be scheduled in accordance with approved policies. Completes projects by the Rules and Regulations governing hospital facilities as required by JCAHO, DHSR, CMS, OSHA, State Health Department, and local/state building and fire codes.? |
EDUCATION: |
??Required: Associate or Bachelor?s degree in Construction Management, or related field.? |
EXPERIENCE: |
??Required: 10 years managing healthcare and multi-phased renovation and construction project for candidates with an Associate degree; 5 years? experience managing healthcare and multi-phased renovation and new construction projects, multi-phased renovations for candidates with a Bachelor?s degree in construction management or related field.? |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
??Required: Driver?s License/Valid Driver?s License and ASHE?s Health Care Construction Workshop must be obtained within 1 year of hire. This requirement will be waived if AHA, CHC, or CHFM credentials is in hand or obtained within 1 year of hire. Preferred: AHA Certified healthcare Constructor (CHC) or AHA Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)? |
