Job Title: Senior Accountant Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing firm in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in managing the full-cycle accounting close process at the corporate level. Responsibilities: Lead and execute the full month-end and year-end close process, from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate deadlines. Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively. Prepare and maintain financial statement footnotes in accordance with US GAAP and company policies. Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with the development and documentation of new accounting procedures. Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and external auditors to support accurate financial reporting. Assist with ad hoc projects, financial analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred). 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within financial services or a related industry. Strong understanding of US GAAP and corporate accounting principles. Hands-on experience with full-cycle close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Proven ability to draft or review footnotes for financial statements. Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar). Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset.
