What we expect:

  • Responsibility for the implementation of category management projects in cooperation with retail partners and key account management
  • Preparation of assortment and competition analyses in close cooperation with Key Account Management
  • Preparation of the category management results achieved and development of recommendations for:

    • Category arrangement, shelf positions and shopper frequency in the store
    • Category shelf structures
    • Product presentation and visibility
    • Promotion measures


  • Participation in client meetings and presentation of category management results
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts with retail partners
  • Development of monitoring and reporting tools

What you can expect:

  • Very good degree in business administration
  • First professional experience of at least two years in the food or FMCG industry with a focus on category management
  • Experience in managing projects
  • very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • excellent language skills in German and English
  • a quick grasp, a very good understanding of numbers and excellent analytical skills that enable you to quickly understand complex issues and reduce them to the essentials
  • a high level of commitment, an independent and structured way of working
  • a confident manner when dealing with contacts at different hierarchical levels
  • enjoy cross-functional collaboration and a willingness to cooperate
  • A passion for passing on CM know-how (CM training) and strong presentation skills
