A Brief Overview
The Executive Talent Acquisition Consultant partners with hiring leaders and Human Resources to identify current and future executive level and senior level needs; develops and executes sourcing strategies to produce and maintain a qualified talent pool for executive level roles. Maintains standard executive recruitment processes and candidate presentation and keeps abreast of market changes in relation to sourcing talent.

What you will do

  • Partners with hiring leaders to understand specific needs and develop detailed job descriptions for senior level and executive level roles.
  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners on proactive workforce planning, to include examination of anticipated roles, retirements and succession planning.
  • Proactively sources high potential candidates through networking, social media, professional associations and candidate databases. Maintains connections with talent pools through intentional communication.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with CHOP executives to understand their roles and culture of CHOP
  • Sources and recruits for Executive Level roles across CHOP to include Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Assistant Vice President and Physician Leadership. Consults with hiring leaders on qualifications, interviewing techniques, and hiring processes.
  • Conducts in-depth candidate research to assess qualifications, fit and potential impact. Conducts interviews with candidates.
  • Presents candidates to hiring leaders and provides comprehensive candidate profiles.
  • Manages the entire executive recruitment process, including salary negotiations.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and market data.
  • Uses data to influence hiring leaders and make decisions; identifies and examines key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Complies with applicable regulations as well as enterprise policies and procedures

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least eight (8) years Progressive strategic and operational talent acquisition experience in recruitment (in-house or agency) required Required and
  • At least five (5) years Consulting with senior level and executive level clients required Required and
  • Experience managing executive (AVP and above) searches Required and
  • Experience in large, highly, matrixed organization Required and
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience Preferred and
  • Healthcare industry experience Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong ability to influence and provide consultation to senior level client leaders and executives (Required proficiency)
  • Experience solving recruitment problems through critical and creative thinking (Required proficiency)
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sourcing programs, recruiting programs and processes to attract and hire diverse pool of qualified candidates (Required proficiency)
  • Developed interpersonal, influence, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds at all levels (Required proficiency)
  • Exhibits exceptional relationship management skills; communicates effectively between and among key stakeholders and candidates. (Required proficiency)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to build rapport with senior level leaders and candidates. (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment and be flexible to changing workflow demands (Required proficiency)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management Systems (CRM) (Required proficiency)
  • Track record of using and leveraging workforce data to devise effective recruitment solutions (Required proficiency)
  • Proven track record of successfully placing senior level candidates in competitive markets (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion (Required proficiency)
  • Negotiation and closing skills to secure top talent (Required proficiency)
  • Deep understanding of the industry landscape and relevant market knowledge (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) - HRCI - upon hire - Preferred or
  • Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) - HRCI - upon hire - Preferred or
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) - Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • SHRM Certified Talent Acquisition (SHRM-TA) - Society of Human Resources Management - upon hire - Preferred
