Corrpro Company, Inc. is looking for a AMPP CP Certified Corrosion Technologist for work in the Corpus Christi, Texas area. Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. QUALIFICATIONS AMPP / NACE CP Technologist (CP III), CIP II or working towards them 7 years corrosion control experience Must have valid Driver's License Must have problem-solving skills Strong team and internal customer service skills required Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis You must live within an hour of Corpus Christi, Texas with ability to travel overnight occasionally COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Competitive Salary Quarterly Bonus Potential Paid AMPP Certifications and other Tuition Assistance Improved life-work balance with reduced amount of travel Career growth opportunities to move forward in your career Company partially paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Matching 401k 14 days Paid Time Off per year 10 paid Holidays per year RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and perform testing and field surveys for corrosion and corrosion protection systems, evaluation of test results and installation of cathodic protection systems on various structure in the Corpus Christi, Texas area Work with specific objectives and instruction from senior staff on customer drawings and specifications Conduct field surveys to gather data for evaluation of corrosion and corrosion control Execute pipeline and tank integrity testing Perform testing of corrosion prevention systems including cathodic protection, protective coatings, AC/DC interference and corrosion monitoring Gather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data Diagnose and develop recommended remedies for system difficulties observed during resurvey operations Write survey reports for review by an engineer Sketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design features on prepared drawings Sketch physical features of installation site for subsequent addition of detail Organize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tables Assemble and analyze data for preparation of final client report including recommendations Prepare survey reports and final job reports for review Assist manager in appraising employee performance and related matters Act as direct interface with customer as needed Assist in cost estimation and detailed proposal Azuria Water Solutions Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
