Job Title: Shift Supervisor-Production Summary As a member of the purchasing team, the Shift Supervisor will direct and coordinate activities of production employees engaged in processing and assembly of wheel- bearing hub assemblies. Starting Salary: $28.00 We offer a 2nd shift differential of $2.50 per hour The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At ANBM, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Set daily objectives, organize workflows and communicate them to employees
- Perform fair evaluation of employee performance and follow up appropriately on employee training needs
- Anticipate, analyze and resolve problems or assist employees to resolve problems
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment (5S)
- Maintain production and quality outputs to specification by establishing and enforcing the organization's standards
- Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
- Review and maintain employee time, attendance and other records
- Ensure optimal operation of equipment by initiating appropriate repairs.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Understands the operation of automated production line
- Understands quality requirements and inspection method
- Able to direct and motivate employees to achieve daily objectives and organizational goals.
- Performs problem solving using root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in written form.
- Able to read, write and speak English well enough to successfully pass safety training.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Concentrate on a task over several minutes without being distracted.
- Arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern.
- Physically move objects safely by using proper lifting techniques.
Physical Demands
- Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- This position requires sufficient vision to see details at close range, so the person can pass an inspection test of finished parts and components
