The successful candidate will have to work directly with business stakeholders, and other team members to develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive greater supplier value and performance. This role will be responsible for negotiating and managing sourcing policies and activities, including overseeing contract compliance and assigned supplier's performance as well as identifying piece part cost reduction strategies. Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for supplier(s) overall performance and contract compliance.
- Review of data analysis and requirements to support informed supplier decisions.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key OEM Suppliers to facilitate formulation and execution of long-term sourcing strategies, establishing clear and measurable goals focused on continuous improvement.
- Serve as subject matter expert for best-in-class sourcing practices and tools. Experienced in working with numerous cross-functional disciplines such as compliance, risk management, and legal.
- Identifies and executes new or creative approaches, strategies, and processes to address a business need.
- Manages the execution of requests for proposals, bid analysis, and contract development
- Lead negotiations with key business partners and identified suppliers to manage demand for spend and ensure the best quality, service, Terms and Conditions, and cost to achieve business objectives. Manage internal customer relationships and leadership expectations. Supports sourcing in negotiations of aircraft parts, equipment, tools, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for the operations of an aerospace organization.

- Responsible for the oversight of supplier contract compliance and supplier performance review (Cost, Quality, Delivery) through KPIs (Quote TAT, Delivery OTD, Quality Escapes, Contract Performance, Blocked Invoices)
- Supplier Certifications Updates
- Continuous supplier account evaluation for possible saving initiatives- Synergy -Increase volume leverage
- Manages the resolution of aging Invoice discrepancies
- Strategic Sourcing Liaison with Business Development to support the development of comprehensive pricing strategies in support of new business opportunities;
- Facilitator of supplier Quality / SCARS closures
- Evaluation of Year Over Year escalations, Piece part Price, LTAs, negotiations
- Responsible for oversight of key supplier Weekly / Quarterly / Yearly Reviews

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of directly related government, industrial, or aerospace purchasing or subcontracting experience, OR Associate Degree with a minimum of 6 years of directly related government, industrial,l or aerospace purchasing or subcontracting experience, OR completion of high school or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of directly related government, industrial or aerospace purchasing or subcontracting experience.
- Demonstrated focus on client success
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required - excellent writing skills are a must
- Experience and confidence in interfacing with senior executives
- Excellent knowledge of the RFP process and supplier selection processes required
- Strong negotiation skills and relationship-building skills required
- Experience redlining and negotiating contract terms and conditions required
- Ability to influence and drive change in a cross-functional team environment
- Must have experience with preparing RFQs/RFPs, reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions. Determine the best value source selection to decide the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet schedule requirements.
- Experience must include bid solicitation and supplier selection based upon best value analysis with a federal contractor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, being able to present financial information clearly and succinctly.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to exchange information and interface effectively with suppliers are required.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (if required for the position).
- Familiar with FAR and DFAR regulations
- Familiar with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiar with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Operating Systems.
Desirable Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAP and the CLM module
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional certification (CSCP)
- ISM Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- ISM Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD)
- Six Sigma Certified Lean Green or Black Belt
- Highly developed knowledge of Supply Chain and Material Management processes.
- Highly developed knowledge of FAR requirements and U.S. Government subcontracting
- Proficiency with SAP software to report and place purchase orders and plans
- Experience in establishing strategic relationships with key suppliers who provide materials for DOD OEM contractors.
