A Brief Overview

Facilitates the space requirements (including operational and technical requirements) for existing physician practices, the development of new physician practices, or new physician practice locations resulting from consolidation, relocation and program growth. Responsible for facilitating practice start-ups, move coordination and site deactivation including site inspections, punch lists, schedules, asset transfers, capital/operational funding and work orders. Responsible for the oversight and management of UHPS timeshare locations and associated staff. In addition, responsible for event coordination of key meetings for the UHPS organization.

What You Will Do



  • Participates as a team member in the identification of facilities programming, including the development of space programs and conceptual floor plans in accordance with standards. Furniture and Equipment Planning, Procurement and Installation, including furniture and equipment inventories, floor plans, budgets, requisitions and schedules. Obtains all necessary approvals.
    * Serves as a team member or is the project lead in the creation of new processes for operational implementation and major or minor refresh and space upgrades to existing practices. Contributes to communications or coordination with vendors regarding new operational or technical enhancements or changes.
    * Facilitates the process of space requests. Serves as a liaison between practices, IT, facilities services, and administration. Works closely with all impacted individuals, practices and management to resolve conflicts and discuss budgetary planning for specific costs.
    * Facilitates practice start-ups, move coordination and site deactivation including site inspections, punch lists, schedules, asset transfers, capital/operational funding and work orders.
    * Responsible for the 7 timeshares in the identified MOB's throughout the UH System. Responsible for assuring appropriate staffing levels to provider schedules, patient volume and clinical needs. Responsible for all operational functions as it relates to managing the timeshare space.
    * Partners with real estate to determine best practice locations based upon business need and serves as a liaison between the UHPS operations team and real estate in relative to lease arrangements.
  • * Oversees facility projects in specific practice areas associated within UH as assigned.
    * Manage and coordinate meeting content for the monthly UHMP Administrator and Front Line Supervisor meetings.
    * Manage and coordinate all meeting and event activities for the following: UHPS All Physician Meeting, Clinical Integration, New Provider Events related to Acquisition or Recruitment
  • * Collaborates with UH Supply Chain Management Services relative to purchase or supply chain contracts facilitating additional savings or efficiencies for UHPS as it relates to medical and other identified vendor contracts.
    * Facilitates obtaining fiscal year capital requests for UHMP and in partnership with UHMP finance manages capital requests and access to UHMP capital funds.
