The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Safety Coordinator to work at our Levy Brandenburg Mill Services location in Brandenburg, KY. The Safety Coordinator performs clerical and administrative responsibilities supporting the division's safety programs. Pay: $22.00-30.00 based on experience Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday in office full time, approx. 8:00am-5:00pm Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Safety Coordinator will: Assist with the implementation of safety and environmental policies, regulations and programs Assist in safety training sessions and toolbox talks Maintain and organize safety documentation, reports and records Conduct site inspections with manager Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding safety concerns Conduct regulatory compliance audits including monitoring and testing Track and monitors risk assessments, observations and emergency drills Maintain and monitors compliance and training records Support incident investigations by collecting data and preparing reports Assist with incident investigation and remediation of environmental incidents including spills Order and maintains PPE Other duties as assigned by supervisor Skills The ideal candidate will have: Safety related experience or internship Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA standards Knowledge of any local or state required safety standards Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings Ability to travel High School diploma required Degree preferred To Apply Please submit your resume.
