As an Email Campaign Specialist, you will be responsible for driving engagement and growth through strategic email marketing campaigns for our software products.

You will work closely with product marketers and the content team to develop, execute, and optimize targeted email campaigns that drive product utilization, cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and introduce new capabilities to both current and prospective customers. With a data-driven approach, you'll continuously monitor campaign performance against core email KPIs (open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates) while measuring the tangible impact on product adoption and feature utilization. Your expertise in email marketing best practices, audience segmentation, and marketing automation will be essential in crafting compelling messaging that resonates with veterinary professionals and drives meaningful business outcomes.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Design, develop, and execute strategic email marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives across product utilization, cross-sell/upsell initiatives, and new feature launches
  • Collaborate with product marketing and content teams to create compelling email content that resonates with veterinary professionals and drives action
  • Build and maintain email automation workflows, triggered campaigns, and nurture sequences within HubSpot
  • Segment audiences effectively to ensure relevant, personalized messaging that maximizes engagement and conversion
  • A/B test email components (subject lines, content, CTAs, send times) to continuously optimize campaign performance
  • Monitor and analyze key email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, unsubscribe rates) and translate data into actionable insights
  • Generate regular performance reports to demonstrate campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices and regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)
  • Maintain email templates, lists, and subscriber databases to ensure data integrity and deliverability
  • Stay current on email marketing trends and technologies to implement innovative approaches

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or healthcare environments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with HubSpot
  • Strong understanding of email marketing metrics and ability to translate data into actionable strategies
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling subject lines and email content
  • Knowledge of email design best practices and HTML/CSS basics
  • Experience with audience segmentation and personalization strategies
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Passion for improving the lives of pets and supporting the veterinary profession

Position Location -Westbrook, ME strongly preferred. Candidates in Boston or surrounding areas will be considered, but you will be expected to be in the office regularly. Local team members generally come into the office 2 days/week. Part of the Software Growth team is in New Zealand, so some ability to work later hours is ideal.
