Position Title: PPG/LSP - Demand Planning Analyst

Company/Employer: LSP Products Group, Inc.

Location: 2727 Chemsearch Blvd, Irving, TX 75062

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  1. Manage the Sales/Demand Planning and Forecasting process for all key LSP regions/territories/sales/customers and critical categories of items.
  2. Conduct total bottom-up Sales Representatives/SKU-level forecasts/Customer-level forecasts.
  3. Develop monthly Sales Representatives and SKU-level forecasts for Baseline (existing) and Incremental (new) products/projects/customers across all sales regions/territories enabled by the Forecast Pro platform and self-building models.
  4. Evaluate the impact of sales promotional activities and new product distribution, including seasonality on the forecast/demand plan fluctuations using MS Excel, Tableau, PL-SQL, and other reporting & analytical tools.
  5. Adjust sales forecast based on price changes, SKU rationalization, and SKU consolidation.
  6. Align with the LSP S&OP monthly process and support all detailed information and metrics for the Pre-S&OP sessions.
  7. Interface with the Sales Leader/Product Manager and Supply Planning Team (Planners/Buyers) on forecast alignment.
  8. Incorporate the whole SKU level build of all forecasts by Customers/Sales Representatives in Forecast Pro and Oracle R12.
  9. Ensure SKU level build is aligned with history and assumptions through maintenance of models, algorithms, outliers, and overrides in Forecast Pro.
  10. Build forecast accuracy reports to monitor forecast versus actual fluctuated demands.
  11. Review forecast metrics and determine the best method to improve forecast accuracy for all Sales Representatives and baseline/incremental SKUs.
  12. Maintain demand inheritance amongst Part Numbers through revision changes.
  13. Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks concerning forecasting.
  14. Review new S&OP processes and make performance-improving recommendations as appropriate.
  15. Develop reports for baseline/new-launching products/projects to develop consensus forecast with sales, product management, and financials.
  16. Demand Planning metrics and reporting, including preparation and support for the S&OP/Demand Planning Session.
  17. Build Volume Rate Mix (VRM) Reports for performance analysis.
  18. Build Fiscal Year Sales Planning.
  19. Build Waterfall chart to include summary level reports to show fiscal year trends, growth, and percent changes.
  20. Develop financial and inventory models for products within existing channels/customers that provide the supply chain team with the information and analysis required to make optimal business decisions.
  21. Responsible for the fiscal management of LSP's working capital (i.e. bulk product, finished product, packaging commodities, etc.) located within LSP's network or at suppliers.


MINIMUMEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:




  • Requires a Bachelors of Sciencedegree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a directly related field of study, plus the following experience:



  1. 3 years of experience dealing with cross-functional teams to ensure Forecast alignment in a Demand Planning/Forecasting role.
  2. 3 years of combined experience working with Wholesales and Retailers.
  3. 3 years of experience with the Forecast Pro Demand planning package OR one of the following: Oracle ASCP, SAP APO, or SAS.
  4. 3 years of experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in the Supply Chain modules, PL-SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, or additional analytical language.
  5. 3 years of project coordination experience to include managing Global-scale projects and efforts for the planning/purchasing activities.



  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
  • Hybrid working model. Work from home available. Must reside within commuting distance from the employer's Irving, TX office.
  • Requires less than 10% travel to international and domestic client locations.
