Job Summary Implement and help drive effective internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged and aligned with the company's goals and values. - Create and implement communication plans, primarily focused on internal communications and social media, that support business objectives and promote employee engagement.
- Support development of and maintain internal communications and social media strategies and content calendars.
- Write, edit and distribute internal communications materials, including intranet articles, digital sign content, announcements, etc. and social media posts, ensuring that messaging is consistent and aligned with the company's brand voice and values.
- Manage posting to internal communication channels, including intranet, digital sign platform, email distribution lists, etc. and corporate social media channels.
- Collaborate with executives, department heads and other internal stakeholders to ensure internal communication strategies, tactics and content align with business goals and objectives.
- Support measurement of and reporting on effectiveness of internal communication and social media efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as an advisor and consultant to senior leaders on internal communications matters.
- Promote positive company culture by creating and distributing content that highlights company values and mission.
- Help plan and execute internal events, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Technical Writing or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in communications, preferably in a corporate environment, related to internal communications and/or social media.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, and knowledge of AP Style.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and analyze the effectiveness of internal communications efforts.
- Knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing relationships with external vendors and internal clients and social media platforms and tools.
- Knowledge of best practices in internal communications and social media.
- Experience managing and maintaining an intranet site.
- Graphic design and audio/video expertise a plus
