Overview

Waters Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented event coordinator to join our team at our Santa Barbara, CA facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of our monthly customer and representative training events on and off-site, including logistics and communication.



Responsibilities

    Travel and Lodging: Negotiate with hotels, manage room lists, coordinate flights, arrange meals, order snacks, develop transportation schedules.
  • Event Communication: Manage registrations, handle event communication, send emails (save the date, logistics, thank you), coordinate visa letters, manage advertising and website updates.
  • Event Materials: Order and coordinate binders and goodie bags, update materials and calendars, reserve instruments and equipment, coordinate supplies for off-site events.
  • Classroom Setup: Reserve rooms, set up classrooms with AV equipment, print diplomas, proctor and grade quizzes, assist with post-event cleanup.
  • Budget & Stats: Manage event budgets, track statistics and outcomes.


Qualifications

  • BS or BA in marketing, communications, or similar discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in administration or event coordination.
  • 1+ years of experience.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The general base pay for this position ranges from $44,000.00 year to $58,300.00 year. Pay is based on several factors including market location.
