Job Details Recruit, screen, interview, select, orient, teach, supervise and evaluate CPE Interns. Conduct some of the didactics and verbatim sessions for CPE Residents. Offer significant assistance with orientation for CPE Residents. Assist with, and in some cases have primary responsibility for, administrative functions related to the CPE program. Other tasks as assigned by Manager of Chaplaincy Services. Maintain the standards of the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE), which "is a multicultural, multifaith organization devoted to improving the quality of ministry and pastoral care offered by spiritual caregivers of all faiths through the educational method of CPE."As a Staff Chaplain provides spiritual care to patients, families, staff and volunteers, and in this role assesses the spiritual/religious/emotional needs of individuals and develops care plans for addressing those needs either directly or indirectly. Coordinate additional chaplaincy care at assigned location as requested by Manager of Chaplaincy Services. As a skilled pastoral care giver, communicates in the context of the other person's frame of reference, both with patients and their families, and colleagues.
