We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven NetApp Managed Services Customer Acquisition Specialist to join our team who can showcase these differentiators and articulate the value they bring to our clients.

As a NetApp Managed Services Account Executive and Customer Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for generating leads, developing relationships, and closing sales opportunities in the US business specifically focused on NetApp technology-based managed services

Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including install base analysis, networking events, referrals, and digital prospecting
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand client needs and pain points and effectively position our NetApp managed services as solutions to their business challenges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations, including up to the C-suite level
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and strategies that attract and engage potential clients interested in NetApp managed services
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the value and benefits of NetApp managed services, with a keen focus on understanding service management principles
  • Foster collaboration with internal teams, establishing relationships and winning their support to promote and evangelize NetApp managed services within the NetApp ecosystem
  • Work closely with our technical team to develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of each client using NetApp technology
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for NetApp managed services
  • Track and manage the customer acquisition pipeline, utilizing CRM tools to document and update all activities and opportunities related to NetApp managed services
Job Requirements
  • Proven track record in services sales, preferably in selling managed services or IT solutions, either directly or as part of an account team
  • A strong understanding of managed services concepts, principles, and methodologiesincluding storage management, data protection, disaster recovery, and cloud solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify leads, and effectively move them through the sales cycle to closure with proven capability in accurately managing and prioritizing a pipeline with forecast accuracy
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to prospecting and sales activities in the NetApp ecosystem
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales processes
  • Strong commercial understanding and grasp of positioning the value of different types of expenditure to strategic customers
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management
Education and Experience
  • A minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience, as outlined above, is required
  • Metrics and Goals:As a NetApp Managed Services Customer Acquisition Specialist, you will be expected to achieve specific metrics and goals related to customer acquisition and solution outcomes. This includes acquiring a target number of new customers, positioning successful service management solutions, and contributing to the overall growth of NetApp. These performance expectations will motivate you to excel in your role and contribute to our collective success.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $295,000 - $380,000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. We will provide detailed information about the specific benefits for your region during the recruitment process.
