Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Weapons Analyst/Test Engineer (TE) tojoin a team to assist the 28 TES DOD at Eglin AFB, FL.TheSenior Weapons Analyst/TE will possess knowledge and skills to apply a variety of analytical techniques to review test data and assess compliance with requirements; plan for future technologies; conduct research and development; and define requirements for systems.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly motivated and experienced test engineer with a strong background in weapons. Essential duties include:



  • Designs and develops advancedtest programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services.
  • Creates test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and performance in the intended environment.
  • Monitors the gathering of test data and evaluates test results to confirm product performance meets customer requirements.
  • Analyzes performance anomalies to determine failure mechanisms and potential remedies.
  • Develops highly complex simulation scenarios to evaluate how products perform under a wide range of conditions.
  • Analyzes complex test cases and scenarios and reports results.
  • Collaborates with other engineering groups to improve or upgrade product performance.
  • May provide technical consultation to other organizations and work leadership for lower-level employees.
  • This role performs all functional duties independently.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Education -

Requires aMaster's degree in the applicable Engineering discipline.

Note - 12 years (or an applicable Bachelor's degree plus 8 years) of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

Experience -

At least 10 years' relevant experience (with MS degree)

Also requires a minimum of DoD Final SECRET clearance and may require a DoD TOP SECRET clearance.
