Business Unit Overview:

Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office Team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing, and communications supports our agents and field managers. The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market, and select cultural markets. Agents sell life insurance,annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds.

Role Overview:

The Zone Associate position will be responsible for important Zone functions related to management recruiting and training programs. This will include handling onboarding for these roles as well as performing data analysis and producing reporting around these functions.

What You'll Do:

* Support Recruiting & Retention efforts with creating, data mining, preparing and assessing reports.
* Handle reviewing, reporting and coordinating the Partner onboarding process.
* Reviewing reporting and tracking all Fast Track, DEP and EEP partner contracting
* Assist Zone management with developing GO/Zone projections based on prior trends.
* Assist with drafting correspondence of and tracking Development Program results.
* Create communications and assists training efforts with creating, data mining and preparing reports.
* Assist with coordinating offsite Zone events and supporting materials for both recruiters and trainers.
* Daily/weekly reports to the General Offices to drive results.
* Process field management onboarding and status changes, including return to field, termination, retirement or transfer scenarios.
* Work directly with Field and Zone Management on a broad range of issues.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of industry experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and a team player
  • Must be able to prioritize responsibilities
  • Must have excellent organizational and customer service skills, including strong telephone and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of New York Life GO/Zone operations is a plus
  • Knowledge of EPM/DMS/Marketer/Dashboard/Sales Central is a plus

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$50,000-$65,000

Overtime eligible:Nonexempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
