About This Role:

Role Overview:Universal Consulting Services (UCS) a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seekinga talented HR Workforce DevelopmentSupport.The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Human Resources Department. He/She will support the Workforce Development Branch in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support/assume responsibilities for Office of Workforce Development programs such as the command's mentoring program and workforce application process for external leadership programs, to include maintaining various sites on the portal.
  • Conduct research for programs and opportunities available to the workforce for further development of leadership training opportunities for the general workforce.
  • Assist with various aspects of leadership training classes such as opening classes and other associated tasks in support of the Leadership and Command Interest Program Managers.
  • Provide Waypoints training and information to the workforce.
  • Develop and maintain various metrics.
  • Create documents such as SOPs and Statements of Work.

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Strong experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products to includeWord, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possesses an extensive customer service background in a professional office setting.
  • Proactive, organized, on-time, produces quality products in a timely manner, organized, dependable, available for work.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal, self-starter.
  • Desire and ability to work and learn andis disciplined enough to work in either a home or office setting.

B.S. in associatedfield

Clearance:

Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Minimum 2-4years of experience

  • Prior experience working in Human Resources
  • Prior experience with Flankspeed, Waypoints, and Adobe

The projected compensation range for this position is $48,000 to $50,000 (annually USD). The estimated compensation represents the standard salary range for a position of this kind, reflecting just one factor of the comprehensive compensation structure and benefits package offered to Tria employees.
