Position: Software Developer Intern Duration: 10 weeks Date: June - August 8, 2025 Location: Murray Hill, NJ - Onsite Education Requirement: a Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science or IT, or a related field with an accredited school in the USA.
- Collaborate with experienced developers to understand project scope and objectives.
- Apply software engineering concepts to design, prototype, and optimize feature functionality in alignment with project specifications.
- Participate in peer reviews, contribute to code development, and support debugging activities to resolve software issues identified during testing.
- Gain exposure to industry-standard tools, processes, and practices used in software systems development.
- Work under the guidance of an R&D Technical Manager, contributing to software development initiatives across the product lifecycle.
- Enthusiasm for applying academic knowledge in a real-world software development environment.
- Hands-on experience in software development and prototype building; experience related to optical networking is a plus.
- Proficiency with technologies such as Java, SQL, Python, and Spring, with experience building standalone applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
It would be nice if you are also:
- Ability to take initiative and learn independently.
- Exposure to routing algorithms (e.g., networks, mapping applications).
- Practical experience with machine learning and its applications.
