Position Description
Performs routine and moderately difficult clerical duties of a specialized nature, which may be performed in a variety of University settings. Responsibilities may include basic bookkeeping, data coding, filing, sorting, posting, verifying, recording, typing, and word processing. Work is performed under close supervision within established policies and procedures with job performance based upon tasks completed.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Assist in the operations of the administrative duties of the Office of Student Life to include answering the phone, taking messages, checking emails, answering student questions and greeting visitors.
  • Assist with the Student Health Insurance process
  • Maintain the Synergistic Center (student area) and ensure it is well kept, orderly, and sanitized throughout the day
  • Assist with the planning and coordinating various events and programming for the students
  • Maintain the posting and organization of the bulletin boards throughout campus
  • Update and maintain student organization records and financial documentation
  • Cross-reference and validate data from multiple spreadsheets with student information


Required Qualifications
Proficiency in written and mathematical processes as may be reflected by the completion of high school or the equivalent.
