Position Summary

As a Project Manager supporting our Mobile Sterile Processing business unit, you will be responsible for the performance and successful outcome of projects across domestic and international locations. You will manage the quality, timeliness and financial objectives in addition to positive Customer satisfaction for multiple projects. This role will represent STERIS Corporation and its interests in jobsite decisions affecting daily operations and the future of STERIS projects.

In this Project Manager role, you will be expected to travel nationwide up to 50%.

What you'll do as a Project Manager

  • Work to maintain and increase Customer satisfaction through site planning, problem resolution, and overall execution of commissioning and decommissioning with Installation Specialist team.
  • Communicate with Customers and stakeholders, including satisfaction surveys, bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly updates, and customer closeouts.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements and tracking financial objectives.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using verification techniques.
  • Manage purchase orders and receipts to support projects.
  • Work directly with leadership, product managers, sales, implementation and service to coordinate all aspects of project installation from contract execution through Customer handoff and project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain and detailed project plan, comprehensive project documentation, and playbook to track project progress, complete audits, identify trends, and determine system improvements.
  • Routinely walk job sites and attend progress and coordination meetings, evaluating potential problems and initiating action to limit negative outcomes.
  • Use negotiation skill to consistently resolve disputes without the need for escalation.

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of proven working experience in construction/field service/project management sector or High School Diploma and ten (10) years of proven working experience in construction/field service/project management sector



Preferred:



  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Siebel a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/SPD a plus.



Other:



  • Ability to lead and influence a cross functional team and operate in a highly complex environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Must be able to improvise in Customer situations to a successful resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation.
  • Must possess a strong personal presence.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands from many people and prioritize effectively

Pay range for this opportunity is$78,500.00-$109,987.50. This position is eligible for bonus

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
