NMT's expertise in endoscopic device development, combined with Isometric's market-leading micro-molding capabilities, are transforming the future of drug delivery and medical device technology-including minimally invasive surgical instruments and surgical robotics. We are currently seeking a Controller to join our Finance Department in New Richmond, WI. This full-time, exempt position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records, supporting operational excellence, and driving strategic decision-making through financial insights and leadership. The hours for this position are during core business hours, 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Train, mentor, and supervise Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Credit/Collections staff.
- Collaborate with Corporate Finance on accounting policy development and implementation.
- Manage site-level treasury activities, including cash disbursements and customer credit.
- Partner with Operations to ensure accurate product costing and analyze key cost drivers.
- Maintain and enforce internal controls in compliance with JSOX standards.
- Drive continuous improvement within financial processes and reporting.
- Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to New Richmond financials and controls.
- Manage regulatory compliance for the New Richmond site.
- Support Corporate Finance and leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and support to cross-functional departments as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial reporting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP; knowledge of IFRS and multi-currency consolidations.
- Strong cost accounting skills and experience with Percentage-of-Completion accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and business intelligence systems is preferred.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across teams and interact with senior leadership.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in business structure (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, divestitures).
