Intern - Land Development

Join the V3 Team this summer! We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Intern to join our Land Development Group (Civil Site Design) this summer in our Indianapolis, IN office. Our team takes the lead on a wide range of projects including the more traditional residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects, and also works alongside our other team members on Power and Energy, parks, streetscapes, and natural resource work throughout the state of Indiana. The ideal candidate will have a passion for civil engineering and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of land development and infrastructure projects, including stormwater, sanitary systems, roads and utilities.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members to deliver a wide range of private and public sector projects.
• Prepare reports, design plans, specifications and cost estimates.
• Assist with civil and environmental permits and approvals.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other team members to deliver high quality projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Related Internship or coursework (preferred).
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, MicroStation (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
