Join the V3 Team and take your career to the next level! We are looking for an experienced Project Scientist-Natural Resources to join our Natural Resources Group in our Columbus, OH office. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and managing fieldwork and project reporting within the Power and Energy and private development markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory approvals while maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage project fieldwork within Power and Energy, private development markets and watershed planning.
  • Complete project reports within assigned timelines and provide technical direction.
  • Monitor project status and budgets and maintain project files.
  • Perform and coordinate fieldwork with the Natural Resources Team, including wetland delineations and habitat evaluations.
  • Prepare, submit, and obtain Section 404/401 and isolated wetland permit approvals.
  • Opportunity to work on natural resource design/build projects.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and responsible decision-making.
  • Represent V3 at professional industry events.
  • Offer feedback to supervisory staff on performance of existing processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in wildlife management, biology, ecology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with wetland delineations, habitat evaluations and regulatory agency coordination.
  • Strong communication and project coordination experience.
  • Prefer technical proficiency in Arc GIS, Microsoft Suite.
  • Valid state driver's license.
