SALARY RANGE: $ 194,892 - $258,669 per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

Nokia of America Corporation, R&D Architect, NI IP Hardware (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA. Perform systems management, integration functions and design the architecture of Nokia products, systems, and services. Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Design, define, and implement integrated hardware and software systems requirements from customer requirements or strategic business and technology objectives. Determine system specifications, input and output processes, and working parameters for hardware and software compatibility. Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies. Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: High speed digital design with large multi-layer PCB's in the communications industry; Design of ultra-high speed serdes links over both PCB's and cables; Digital hardware design flow from product inception through production release; High-speed router design both board and system level; and, Firmware and low-level software in the hardware design environment.
