Branch Manager

The Branch Manager directs and manages production, distribution and marketing operations for the branch. This position also manages employees in the branch.

This position is with our aerial application business which operates under the name Diversified Applications, Inc. or DAI. DAI owns aerial application businesses throughout the United States. Our goal is to offer quality aerial application services from strategic locations across the country using our growing fleet of helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

The employee's primary duty must be the performance of office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of Helena or Helena's customers. This also includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.

What your day may look like



  • Recognizes changes in the market resulting from environmental, economic, or competitive conditions and develops sales strategies to meet those changes.
  • Assigns duties, evaluates performance, and motivates and trains the team to assure maximum utilization of the location.
  • Updates knowledge and skills to meet the needs of a changing customer and product mix.
  • Effectively resolves customer complaints, application and service problems, distribution, inventory needs and control, and staff issues.
  • Assures the company image is developed and maintained favorably with customers and suppliers.
  • Supports and assists corporate management in any other functions as may be deemed important and necessary for location operation.
  • Ensures that all flights are conducted with safety as the primary consideration and that the operation of the aircraft complies with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and established company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains book of business through the ag-retailer or through direct relationship with clients.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.



Education and experience needed for this position




  • Experience managing an aerial application site required.

Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job

The work environment for this position may require the employee to work in an outdoor setting in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working outdoors and possibly around moving equipment/mechanical parts, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You may be occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
