How you'll make an impact:

Embedded in the broader People + Culture (P+C) department, the People Technology & Reporting team at SiriusXM provides an important role in supporting the technology that powers our People. These projects have a significant impact, company-wide. Guided by organizational goals and priorities, you will provide first line support to analyze the technology that our P+C organization uses. You will focus on the end-to-end production support of Workday but our team has a role in supporting other systems that are used by P+C. You will work across departments and geographies, working with our partners in P+C, Payroll, Finance, and IT to provide solutions that increase efficiency and enhance our employee experience.

What you'll do:

  • Reporting to the Associate Director of People Technology and Reporting, provide daily system support for Workday and other P+C systems including troubleshooting data and application issues, recommending solutions and implementing enhancements and fixes within the context of approved methods.

  • Lead short-term projects that require proficient application knowledge.

  • Support larger projects as prioritized in the P+C Roadmap.

  • Support the P+C Technology Roadmap by reviewing requests and providing feedback on scope and level of effort.

  • Be a Workday Reporting resource with knowledge of functionality, design concepts, and touchpoints within HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence and Talent/Performance.

  • Support management of and respond to requests received in the team's ServiceNOW HRSD ticketing system.

  • Evaluate new system functionality with the ability to bring ideas forward to our internal People Technology and P+C partners including during and outside system release/upgrade schedules.

  • Apply skills in requirements definition, functional specifications, analysis and design, system setup and configuration, testing, data conversion and deployment.

  • Apply experience in HR systems to recommend and implement process improvements that create efficiency and scalability.

  • Understand SOX compliance guidelines within SiriusXM regarding security and business process workflow changes.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular maintenance and system audits.

  • Contribute to change management efforts related to People Technology systems.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need:

  • Minimum 3+ years of Workday Core HCM experience including business process management.

  • Proficient experience supporting full cycle Workday Benefits and Compensation modules.

  • Proficient experience supporting Workday Absence, Talent/Performance or Learning management desired.

  • Proficient experience with Workday report writer and calculated field development.

  • Basic experience supporting the Workday security model.

  • Basic knowledge of Workday EIB data loads.

  • Workday production support experience including time spent in a steady-state organization with a mature system in place.

  • Microsoft Excel skills that show proficiency in pivot tables, v-lookups and charts.

  • Experience working in highly collaborative, fast-paced environments while also demonstrating independent thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and deliver work based on changing business needs.

  • Commitment to internal client satisfaction.

  • Demonstrated clear communication skills, both written and verbal including the ability to communicate complicated details effectively.

  • Previous Workday implementation experience desired.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S
