Job Summary:
The Shipping Associate will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare laboratory testing and kit items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material with robust quality control; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Responsibilities:
* Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment. Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
* Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as handtruck, conveyor, or sorting bins. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage meter.
* Collaborates with buyers, schedulers, and the shipping team, to ensure inventory accuracy and timely transactions. Cross-train to assists other areas and team members as required. Communicate problems and solution ideas to the shipping lead and supervisor.
* Demonstrates excellence in completion of all other duties as assigned. Ability to use hand tools, such as tape measures, hammers, nail guns, pneumatic crimper, hoists, banding equipment, etc

Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent degree
* 1+ years of experience with shipping and receiving experience.

* Ability to Stand through out a shift when not on break
* Computer, data entry, and keyboarding skills.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Dripping Spring, TX no travel.
