I&C Systems Engineer

Role Description:

We are looking to hire a system process engineer to coordinate, track, and communicate processes and metrics associated with I&C design changes, corrective actions and configuration control. The individual will lead the I&C system engineering software tool usage for these processes and provide weekly metrics and conduct status meetings. This individual is expected to work extensively with technical subject matter experts and project management, supporting both the operating and new plant design projects.

Education:

• BS in Engineering or Related Technical Disciplines

I&C Systems Process Engineer

• Technical interest, including a desire and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform database management.
• Previous knowledge of overall design and operation of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and systems is preferred, but not required.
• Previous knowledge of distributed I&C systems is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles and process-oriented concepts.
• Understanding of configuration management and requirements management
• Ability to work within a team and coordinate external support, as needed, to successfully complete project scope.
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical topics, summary of results, and proposed solutions to customers and team members.
• Familiarity with the concept of providing labor and cost estimates for project scopes preferred, but not required.
• Expected to generate reports related to project design changes, metrics, and configuration control activities.
• Ability to implement, execute, and maintain integrated systems engineering processes and tools on the assigned projects.
• Ensures applicable software database tools are defined and maintained.
